Interesting to note the high level of content submission during these snow storms, tornadoes and hurricanes drive page views, snow storms drive content. Makes sense when you think about it.

A number of best practices are emerging.

In addition to all the citizen submissions, reporters and photogs are sending in content via cell phones, they go straight to a story, shoot on cell phones and send it back to the station. It's like everyone has their own live truck.

Competitive metrics like first to air and variety of locations are no longer limited by the number of trucks you can put on the road.
